Hazard Awareness Training

This hazard awareness training is to provide the necessary knowledge and skills, enabling the learner to identify and act upon potential hazards within the workplace, preventing harm and ill-health to themselves, their work colleagues, and everyone else.

Course Content

The hazard awareness course covers the following elements:

  • Reasons to manage Health and Safety

  • What is a hazard

  • Types of hazards found in the workplace include unsafe acts and conditions.

  • What is risk

  • Dynamic risk assessment

  • How to act and report hazards when found
