About Jamie Burns
​
Jamie Burns is a Chartered Safety and Health Professional, with extensive experience supporting organisations across high-risk industries including energy generation, waste management, recycling, construction, logistics, transport and manufacturing.
Jamie began developing leadership and risk-management skills during 15 years of service in the British Army. Following his military career, he spent three years working as a maritime security and risk-management consultant, supporting operations where modern-day piracy presented a serious threat.
Since 2015, Jamie has worked in dedicated health and safety roles, helping businesses improve compliance, reduce workplace risk and develop practical management systems that work in the real world.
He has supported organisations ranging from large multinational companies to small local businesses. Jamie takes the time to understand how each organisation operates before providing clear, proportionate and practical advice.
